Just sharing a fun story. Over the past month or so, i've been putting together a calendar for ls1.com; a late model muscle car forum for corvette, gto, camaro and trans am enthusiasts. It is a girly-calendar where forum memebrs got to submit images of themselves posing with their cars then distributed through cafepress.com.
I ended up hiring a model [daughter of a friend] and she was a big sport: posing on my car in a miniskirt on a blistery 40° day. We shot on the top of a parking garage on a saturday afternoon so we could have ample light and a lot of un-interupted space. My other friends were on scene to add some additional elements and then I had to photoshop the HELL out of the image to emulate the excitement and motion that is derivative from driving a v8 muscle car. I've attached a few images, the cover and the "november month" are both with the same model. The other images are user submitted. You can see I did some cool stuff like added a description bar so that people's vehicle information could be displayed and I girlied-up the ls1.com logo to give it some spice. I've recieved a lot of adoration for this project so I was hoping to get the same enjoyment from some fellow designers.
