This is an illustration i did from scratch, and no its not traced from another image, scanned or whatever. Just an image i was drawing and editing and this is what i came up with.

wow, that is really good! How long did it take you do make it? What program did you use?

it took me a bit while since i kept editing on different styles, about 5 hours in total on and off, time from doing alot of individual strokes for the hair and other areas, i used Photoshop cs2.

Wow I like that only thing that is annoying me is the dead straight hairline lol, it looks a little unnatural, apart from that bloody amazing I can do things like that with acrylics and paint lol but not on me compie yet

yea, it doesnt look as natural but i really didnt do straights, i tend to curve a bit, but i end up duplicating because i got lazy to do individual hair strings =/ lol

oh or did u mean that straight line, across the top of his forehead, if thats the case, its a"lineup", idk how it is where u live but some barbers around here will use a blade and line it up, and the sideburns are called pics

honestly, i'd never be able to do that. So i light heartedly say this: it's a little "stiff" on the right side. Just too crisp of a line. But really dude, you do have skills

yea it is, the technique i used was different from the others, usually i brush it, but this one i used a solid color layer below it, so when im painting, the color wouldnt go off what i want to paint, and i suppose that explains why its crisp compared to where i brushed the ears on the left

I have to agree with 3rd shift, the only thing that bothers me is the harsh sharp line of the right side of the face.. you need some shading to soften it up and round it out a bit.

yea its very pixelated, i didnt realize it would leave it to be like that after i deselect my selection of the solid layer, and i was bit "lazy" to fix it haha but when i got time i miight just finish it up

Either way I'm jealous lol and yea soften the right side and it'll top it off
