Here is my first attempt at a vector car. Not as nice at some I've seen posted here but It's a far cry from my first vector drawing about a month ago. No tutorial was used. As I said, not perfect but I'm pretty proud of the progress I've made.

Oh and for those enthusiasts who might notice, yep I forgot to put the turn signal on.

100% vector.

I haven't figured out the gradient mesh in photoshop. Just using gradient fills and other blending effects. It has a lot of layers lol. I've only had photoshop for a short while so haven't found all the goodies yet.

Hmm... if you use gradient fills then its not vector is it?

It is vector - the fills are linked to the layers and scale with the image.

Took about 6 hours.

You say you used Photoshop? How can you create a vector drawing in Photoshop? Why bother with Freehand or any other vector sw ?

Yes you can create vectors in photoshop. It isn't as feature rich as illustrator in regards to them but I'm still learning both photoshop and illustrator.
