Ok so I have an image all sliced just like I want it, now I am going to save it so it gives me all the images in a seperate folder named images and also an html file in the main folder. what this does if you look at the html code is it gives all the images a path like this img src: images/slice1, however this is not the correct path for my particular site. my path needs to be something like this "img src: customers/client1/images/slice1. till now I have had to go and do a find and replace in a text editor to replace all occurances of the img src however every time I make a change to my image and it creates a new html file, I have to go and do it again, am I just being silly or is this the only way to do it.

Thanks in advance

What's silly is using ImageReady to generate HTML ! It is such BAD coding.

Don't let ImageReady output your images to any separate folder, put all of your images on your site in to a SINGLE images folder, then you won't have any problem referencing images site-wide, they will always be in ONE place.

Unfortunatly if you saw my handcoding you would laugh, for days, so for now im stuck using applications such as photoshop, imageready and dreamweaver to do all the hard work for me. I wish it were not so, and I know that my site would be greatly improved with handcoding.

You're suggestion about the images all being in one folder, is great however for my particular application would not work out for a few reasons, the type of site I have, will have thousands of images in the end of the day and if I am to use image slices I could multiply those thousands by at least 4 to 6 times for the various slices I would require. I am sort of stuck usin subfolders for each customer.

However thatkyou for your response, it did not fall on deaf ears.
