What graphics program are you using? Each one is a little different on applying watermarks, and a couple even have a "watermark" link in their menus.

Hi NeVeR,

I don't have either of those programs with me at the moment, but I am absolutely sure that in Photoshop, there is an option in one of the menus labeled "Watermark". I'm sorry I can't offer more help as I don't have the programs with me at the moment.

Adobe has a mini-tutorial in it's online help section on adding the "digital" watermark in PhotoShop. The PhotoShop watermark is a digital watermark that actually notifies the "user" that the image is copyrighted. It uses Digimarc Picturemarc. It's not so much visible on the pic.

Even at that, you can put semi-transparent text embedded in a layer of the pic or graphic.

There's a couple of PS users, like DC, that will be able to help you.

I think Drache will have to come along with some instructions on PaintShop........well, I think she's a super user with it!

This post will probably get more answers in the Graphics and Logos section, so look for it there.

Just go with what DMO said. I mostly use PS (Fireworks sometimes). Just put in the text Sample at around 50% transparency. It should work. Use the transform tool if necessary.

Lol, dude.. .. go to Windows > Layers. You will get a box with the layers info. Next click on the text tool and add it to your image. Next, you will see the new layer wit the text. Then, in the layer dialog, you will see Opacity and Fill. Change the Opacity to the desired level.

Heres a pic... its for PS7 btw but should be the same as PS6 if you have that one.

Hope this helps. If you still have questions, ICQ me 159328706 or AIM on ldecapitatedl
