Hi all!

I'm having a really frustrating time creating a shadow edge for a graphic Im trying to make for my website. Basically Im trying to knick the idea from

See how its a white background and the shadow is indented into the stripy blue graphic bit? I'm trying to do the same thing, but with a solid gray color/graphic instead of a stripy blue graphic yet I'm having a tough time doing this with fireworks. Could someone help me out please? I'd be really appreciative!

I don't really see a shadow in that graphic, but it does look like a gradient mask has been used to 'fade out' the diagonal stripes to the solid blue.
