Hi all

Which Graphics program would you say is easiest to use or the best?

I can use Fireworks Quite well, i'm quite rubbish in photoshop cs, and didn't manage to create a good logo in inkscape lol.

Can anyone offer any tips / tutorials on how i can improve?

Same way you get to Carnegie Hall.. PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE !

Along with lots of reading and learning from books, seminars and videos.

If you can already use Fireworks I would stick with that until you find that there is something you can't do, and only then consider another app (assuming it's FW and not you that is lacking ). I use FW too, and find that it can do everything I need.

I find it easier to use the ps cs, but i dont really use layers i tend just to make stuff on one canvas :P

You must use the heck out of your UNDO button !
Layers are the way to go if you want to be a real graphics pro Layers allow you to do SO much more and you don't have to scramble for the UNDO button when something gets screwed up.

I agree, You can almost do anything with Fireworks, It's Adobe Photoshop on steroids, lol.

If your work doesn't require photo manipulation and your doing graphics for the web (eq. logos, buttons, layouts) a very easy to use solution is Xara Xtreme.
