Hey guys,

I'm new to Photoshop. I need help trying to make a modern logo. Can anyone help me try to make one?

Like www.rogem.net logo.

Thats quite a simple logo...

1.Get the circle marqee tool and make that shape

2.Then do that again for the smaller oblong...
Make it white and set the opacity down a bit.

3. Put some text on it.

You can do it with just the shape and add your text over it or do the text in "glass" too.

that's really not a good logo. it's just text in an oval. Check out some graphic design books at borders to see what good logos look like

I think it's an amazing logo what suits it's purpose :P

What you want to do, is put to ovals over each other one smaller then the other and play with alpha Then put some cheesy font over it.

Would like out help out but it would take some time. Google up some online tutorial. They are much better that forums since you can see and follow the instructions.
