Hi all, ****, I don't have enough posts so I cant post for a designer to have a Logo made so I need help. I guess me the non artist will have to persevere and try to do what I can with open source software.
I'm after creating (laughs seriously i'm no artist!) I want a logo which at the center has an American Eagle grasping a hard disk drive in its talons, behind the eagle i want to place some combination of UK and US flags. I am not law enforcement so I need to be careful with the design. The logo is to be circular and contain the name of my company, my name and the title of my profession. Any tips would help starting with does anyone know of any open source software that would help me....any ideas or suggestions welcome.

Pafl3a I had a look at your website and I cant see any logos you've desgigned before however from what I can see on your site you have talent. I think with the right logo I can come up with more than $35..let me know how you're getting on.
I need the text around the logo to say Droid IT at the top, Edward Lewis (Or E. Lewis if short on space) Certified Data Recovery Specialist if that helps.

sorry to presume GMA was your site, it still looks good though your friend was lucky to have you on board. I'll take a look at the .psd and we can take it from there when your ready. Thanks again

WOW! You have my attention, I do like it. Is there anything you could do to remove the blue background leaving just the circular logo? Any chance you could try the lettering. I like the styles that the FBI and Homeland Security use for lettering but need to make sure mine is not an imitation nor do I want it make me look like law enforcement. If you could show me something with your watermark on it with the following text

Company name: DROID IT
My Name: Edward Lewis (or) E Lewis
My title: Certified Data Recovery Specialist

Once I agree on a final draft is it possible for you to do the logo in various sizes maybe also in a format that can be printed on paper clearly as well as displayed on a webpage. Let me know. And thanks again hope I'm not being too picky. Let me know what you think is or isnt possible, I'm not the artist here

here it is with the lettering i kept it simple so you can transfer to a shirt or a letterhead without too much change. I can take off the shadow if you want. other than that let me know

It's brilliant but I need to ask for a couple of tweaks...Please!

1. On the Union Jack the cross of St Patrick is missing.. Please could you add that, also please note the different heights of the red stripes (Its an indication of the Union Jack being the right way up etc) see http://www.anbg.gov.au/images/flags/union-jack.gif
2. I do prefer the logo without the shadow.
3. Can you add a . in Droid IT so that it Reads DROID.IT
4. Can you provide a logo for my wife to use when she has received her certification just change the name to K.Lewis
5. Now this is the important one what e-mail do you use for Paypal?
