Hi,

I know nothing about Flash and have messed up an attempt to Flash'ize a 3d animation I made, so that it can appear looping on a web page. The page is here: http://www.word07.com/

I can see the flash but other people can't - any idea why?

Alternatively, is there a way to get an AVI to loop? I suspect not... The image quality seems to be much better if I don't get Flash involved.

Thanks for any help!

I can see it fine.
Only reason would be other people do not have a version of flash high enough as the one you created the movie with (ie. Flash 8). You download a script from the adobe site that will check the version of the user's flash player and notify them they need to update.
Cheers.

They can't see it because you are using the <embed> tag to put the SWF into the page. This will cause IE users to get the dreaded 'click to activate' , which requires they click twice to even see the Flash movie.

Change your method of putting the flash on the page and the problem will go away. There are several methods listed in stickies at the top of the HTML forum.

Thanks for that LadynRed. There's a stickie there that tells me how to do it so I'm just going to have a read of that now.
