Hi!
I am using illustrator CS2, I want to print an image with color separations. How to set up color management for it? Any other settings needed for this kind of printing? I will be thankful if anybody get some time for my help.

I never tried to print an image with color separations, but I know a little about it. Hope it will help you.

Click file ==> Print
After a print dialogue box appears, select a printer and PPD file.
To print a file, select PostScript File or Adobe PDF instead of a printer.
Now click on Output from left side of print dialogue box.
Select Host-based separation mode
To specify Emulsion for a paper print, print your image up (right reading).
Specify image exposure as positive, specify printer resolution depending upon your printer resolution.
Set options for color plates you want to separate.
Set additional options if you want
Click Print.

And that is done!
