I just purchased a new unopened coreldraw8 which is an older version. package was unopened for $5.00. i'm tickled. anyway, if anyone is familiar with the program, which i'm not, do you know if there is a extract command for photos? something that will cut out photos so you can change the background to white? This would be in corel photo-paint 8

Well the help files will show you how to "CUT-OUT" any portion of the image, this can be accomplished in a variety of ways and methods, in any program.
it usually involves using the Pen tool !

I hope that helps.. Adobe illustrator makes it a snap to do this !
