I agree the easiest and quickest thing is to use a program called Magic Swf2Gif, i have used this program and i think its a far better tool than macromedia dreamweavers export option

I downloaded magicswftogif and it is not converting in color. I have SWF files and when it converts it doesn't convert in full color.

Is there a setting I'm missing?

is it possible to get a flash from Youtube but i don´t need all the flash but just like 5 seconds of it, and convert or export it to gif format, and if it would be possible in a freeware soft... thanks in advance whether anyone knows anything ...

you can download the .flv video from youtube, then you can convert it into .gif using .flv to .gif converters. -> http://video2gif.leechvideo.com/

then you can edit the gif with the help of ulead gif editor and edit out the part that you do not need.
