Hey i am new to graphic design i am going to college to learn more though. Tell me honestly what you think and anything that you think i could do to improve my methods or anything.

Well, I think that they look like photoshop filters, and simple graphic work. I like using filters too though with the right color changes and images. Gun banner has a slow/confusing layout. I like the last one but the beach one is just too easy and artistically I am not sure what it is "saying"

Well, as for the one with the gun - imho, such kind of movement would look nice in flash, but not as a .gif - at least i'd make it move smoother and with no change of direction.

I like the second one - vivid colors and good contrast.

For the last two - really, i can't imagine their use somewhere.. plus, i'd use clearer colors or other filters.

These picture looks like photos with photoshop filters (very easy to do). Try to learn Illustrator or CorelDraw of you like to do/draw your own ideas or a logo.

Try and find out more about Fireworks. It's much easier and faster to use Fireworks, eventhough i'm using Photoshop myself.
