I have created a navigation bar for a website I am working on. I have created dividing lines - the problem is that some seem to disappear when I am moving it in to position. Why is this?

When you create a new vector object in Fireworks it puts the object into a new layer. Now if you are trying to move your dividing line to appear on top of another vector image, then you need to make sure the diving line layer is above the other one. If it is below the other one, then it appears behind the image and not in front.

Look in your Layer Panels tab and have a peek at the layer order. Move them around by clicking a layer and dragging it - you can even create new folders and put all your dividers in there, then put this layer above the nav one
