I'm trying to create some custom smilies, so obviously whilst the canvas is square I only want the actual smiley circle showing up. However, when I export (as GIF), the corners of the square are white rather than transparent. I've tried adjusting the settings in the Export Wizard, but it doesn't seem to be yielding any results.

On anything other than a white forum background, they look really out of place. Any help appreciated, thanks in advance

EDIT - Ok, so you need to look closely, but it really bugs me.

as i remember i've seen smth like this, try to open exported file on Photoshop and resave it as gif... it should work as i remember ....
