Next week i'm going to have the opportunity to meet a lot of people at this trade show...It's not graphic or web related, but I know I can get some customers that need a web site...So i've put together a quick business card...and i will probably only get about 250 printed. I'm a college student, and I know that in about 3 or so months, I will be moving around, so I'm not sure about having my address on there

I've blurred out the address and phone number because...well...we're on the internet.

I am going to apply for a PO box, and if the PO box gets approved before next weekend, then I will just put the PO number on there rather than my physical address...

Other than the address and phone number, I'd like your thoughts and criticizem on the overall layout and design. Be honest

I like it. I don't really care for the name "Nate the web guy." It sounds like a mock plumbing company. "Jack The Pipe Guy." The design is alright, fairly straight forward.

Nate, the look is really nice -- but I'm with highanddry about the "Nate the web guy" -- doesn't sound super professional, to be honest. And maybe a neater picture in the corner, although that one is pretty nice, too.

Thanks everyone for your opinions.

I do understand the whole "jack the pipe guy" thing, but the whole reason i'm sticking with it is because it's simple. I'm a simple guy. I like things to be easy to remember and not at all confusing...I've been known as a "web guy" for quite a while, and it just made sense that if someone knows me as a web guy and someone says "hey..i need a web site"...then someone else can say "hey...I know Nate..the web guy"...simple. easy. done.

I only got a short run of these cards...around 100...I understand the concerns with the bleeds and everything getting cut off...I hope to rework this and put a little more time into it some day in the future. Thank you all again for your feedback. It's very much appreciated

The only thing blurred is my physical address...where I live. If I had an office, I wouldn't have and issue leaving it untouched....

I did however get my P.O. box...so maybe i'll go ahead and post the latest version of the card that I have....i'm too tired to do it tonight tho

Well i agree with what highanddry is saying but i dont like the design on the card it needs a bit more time spent on it, the " N " logo needs to have a Lot of time spent on it everything is realy basic, remember this is coming from a 13 year old designer/webmaster from wales

reduce the size of the text so the whitespace on the card increases. Its a bit too crowded at the moment and offers no focal point to its viewer.
