Hi there!

I've been trying to find a certain effect on Google...but I'm having no luck.

The Effect I'm talking about is:

Say you have a photo icon links on your page. When these icons are clicked, the whole view port in the browser fades to a transparent black, with the image showing up right in the middle of it.

I'm not sure if this is flash, Java Script, or something else, but I can't figure out how to accomplish this.

I wish I could remember a website that used this, but I can't seem to find any at the moment.

Any ideas?

It's Ajax and it's called LIGHTBOX. There are many variations out there, but the original scripting can be found here:

I also like this effect. I haven't used it yet. On my facebook, i have the boost studioLD plug-in for firefox and they use this effect while looking through people's photo albums, but on either side of the picture they have a mini picture for the previous or next photo to come. And you can scroll throught the pictures with the left and right arrow keys. Any one know how to add those pictures for the previous and next items?
