This is a longshot, but theres a book I badly need to get hold of only I cant remember the name! It was a collection of work done by various graphic design companies, it wasnt very big but was quite thick. All of the work in it was very futuristic looking and a cd [or dvd, i cant remember exactly] was included with it that had .PSD's of all the work so that you could examine them in Photoshop.

Also on the back it was talking about how the designers 'look into the future' [or something along those lines!]

I dont suppose this seems familiar to anyone??

People have advised me to Google it, but trust me, I've tried that!

your best bet would be to try amazon and go through all the search results for "graphic design" in books section. I know there will be lots of results but then when there is so little info about a book, you may not have much choice.
