My IE7 page doesnt show the "[ read more ]" line on the home page of this site: http://www.wineinacan.com. It appears correctly in Firefox and IE6.

Below is how it appears in IE7:

Below is what it is meant to look like:

You are incorrectly re-using ID's. You have several instances of 'div id="news_heading' as well as others. ID's MUST be UNIQUE. If you need to re-use a set of rules, make them a CLASS.

Dump the tables for layout and use CSS, you'll be glad you did.

ok i cant see the bit you have above, but i like the design looks quite good.

however the code is a completely differant matter.

DO NOT USE UPPER CASES FOR TAGS!
make them all lower case.

again like ladynred (the supreme CSS/html guru) said DUMP THE tables. i was converted and for it im am ever thankful

belive me i found it SO hard to get my head around how to do stuff with out tables i gave up about 5 times but eventualy got it

also i belive the hover effects you have on your navigation can be done with some clever CSS which is better than javascript, as so ive heard the amount of users with it disabled is going up; and i always prefer a CSS alternative to javascript.

Hope some of this helps.

Like the look of your site but you rely on Javascript way too much .

Echoing Dan try to use the Css pseudo class hover and you'll achieve much the same effects.

Also if you have to use JS then I'd dump it to a separate file and link to it.

Good work
