When I search Google for the best html tutorial, this was at the top
http://www.yourhtmlsource.com/

But I say, take a look at these
http://www.w3schools.com/
http://www.htmldog.com/
http://www.htmlgoodies.com/

I think w3schools.com is by far the best site. I constantly use this site to look up tags attributes and stuff.

There is no such thing as a best tutorial. As far as HTML is considered there are a lot of wonderful resources available. Obviously w3cschools.com is good.

If you do have some previous experience, I'd suggest HTML Dog.

You'd also do well to learn CSS if you're serious about web-designing.

By far the most resourceful site I've seen is W3, but I also ran across the Web Developers Library http://www.wdvl.com and HTML Goodies http://www.htmlgoodies.com .

They have a few items the W3 doesn't.

I don't know about any of the other one's but W3Schools. And what I know about that site is that it's pretty hard to actually learn HTML & CSS there.

If you're a beginner just starting to learn, I would use Tizag.

Yes, W3Schools should be the main site you need to go to when in need of HTML help. If you need tags or examples of those tags, W3Schools has them available.
