Hello everyone yes I am new to this and this is the first forum that I pulled up on google when typing in "Need help with website forum". I just had my site built by someone (for free!!!) now it is a photo and video site with all my photos and videos, hence it being a photo and video site! The website is www.digitalaproductions.com

Here are the problems:
1. I want to put more photos up, and I have tried using the code the website builder gave me and no more photos came up in the gallery when i added the code. I just need some help knowing how to add photos!

2. I would like to add a scroll bar to the left side (the thumbnail part) of my gallery so the page don't get too long. I would like to know that!

3. Finally videos, this is the part I'm the most clueless about, the videos are in XVID code and I have no Idea about that, the only thing I know is how to make the videos!

So thanks to everyone in advance for even looking at these questions!

thanks again

Ashley

Ashley did you remember to upload the images you wanted to show to the server. The code for displaying an image is

<img src="path-to-your-image" />

The image needs to be somewhere on your server and you need to use a path that points to that image.

I don't think you can get the scrollbar on the left hand side, but I could be mistaken. I think it will always be on the right.

The way I would create a scroll bar is by using css. I would wrap the content in a <div> and apply the css property overflow: scroll.

Do you know any css?

I'm not familiar with XVID, but you might find an answer about how to embed the video in this thread, which discusses how to embed video and audio into a web page.

I'm not familiar with XVID, either -- do you have Windows Movie maker? You could try loading it in that. If it accepts it, you could then save it as a wmv which is much more user friendly.
