My sites are primarily images from PS just sliced text from frontpage. What programs can I use to convert them to CSS? Does dreamweaver do this?

I don't think that Dreamweaver or Photoshop could export those as CSS instead of tables. It's really annoying, and you'll probably have to code it yourself unless you want to buy another program that will do that for you.

I find a better way of doing it is to create your layout in CSS first, then make images to fit it. You can then slice according to the required dimensions or cut out each image individually (like I do...lol)

I'm not sure if there is any program that will do this but I'll have a look into it. You should have a go at learning (x)HTML and CSS anyway because they are very useful and would look good on your CV. Besides, if you're like me you won't trust a program to do it for you~!

It's more like blue-dreamer said. When creating a css layout you generally think of the layout first to decide what really does need to be an image. Chances are the majority of what you slice could be better handled with code alone.

I doubt you'll find a program that will do quite what you want.

ImageReady will do this.

File > Output Settings > Slice Output: Generate CSS

and I agree with what's been said previously...I don't really trust ImageReady to do all the work. Some of the work will require some knowledge.

ImageReady will do it, but it creates really BAD code, you do not want to do it that way. Get away from using images for text, it's very bad for accessibility. The 'slicing' for a CSS layout is not at all like the 'slicing' for tables, you don't need 50 little boxes and you don't need spacer gifs.
