Hey guys,

So I'm helping with my buddies site where they sell game currency...World of Warcraft...etc etc

He needs a order form to order gold or "power leveling".

Now what's a way to make one or is there premade one's to build into your site?

Thanks!

Hey David,

I'm sure you can probably find a pre-made order form on the internet somewhere but I strongly suggest getting an open-source shopping cart or eCommerce store. It will take a while to set up and customize but in the end it will be a better experience for both your friend and his customers.

I suggest trying osCommerce or Zen Cart. They are both highly customizable and best of all, free!

Alex.

Check out all of the different carts at OpenSourceCMS

There are certain ones that come out of the box ready to handle file download purchases.

or prebuilt ones that need no serverside code such as Paypal or RomanCart

Also using a single "Buy Now" Paypal button would probably work

Paypal actually has an automated software that you can download into your frontpage (I am not sure if it works with all software) so you can add your button, options, etc as you go rather than hop back and forth between their site an the one you are creating. I am actually using this on a baby bedding site I am working on for one of my customers. It really is click, click and go! It is super easy to use and you have it there within your program which makes it the easiest route. I am a bigger fan of zen cart and oscommerce though because customers can modify without you once they get the hang of it. I have found that giving them them the ability to add without me makes them a lot more self-sufficient and means I don't have to worry about updating/adding products.

Question, can someone tell me what order thing these sites use?

1. http://www.pvp-depot.com/USPowerleve...FRcbWAodoQ7jBw

2. http://www.ltk365.com/wowusapl.aspx?...FQYjWAod7BfrEQ

3. http://thsale.com/Power.1.World_of_W...FQYjWAod7BfrEQ

I'd love it so you could just enter in current level & desired ending level and it will calculate a price you setup for that level stuff. If it is paypal or osCommerce how would you do that, if it isn't what is it and how can ya do osmething like that?

They all have same format, you enter current level and ending "desired" level and it brings up a price you have set. As you can see.

Maybe you can edit this order form script to your needs?

Demo : http://www.dyn-web.com/scripts/orderform/form.php
Download at : http://www.dyn-web.com/scripts/orderform/

Not related to the site at all, but Ive used that script a few times in the past myself and found it easy to use. PHP and Javascript, and you can easily add a paypal button to it

Last time I played with the order form code I was trying to convert the script to work with ajax validation (instead of the old popup error window). I managed to setup the form to output valid xhtml strict but never finished off the job with the Ajax.

I can upload it if someone would like to have a play with it, see if they can finish off what I started

Those all use asp. I would venture to guess that they are custom made scripts. I am not sure where (or if) you could find a pre-made script like the ones you posted. The open source shopping carts, or paypal buttons like others have mentioned may be your best bet without having someone custom code it for you.

I my experience, it can work to use the "donate" function of something like PayPal if you really hate hard work.

I'll try paypal for now but I think I'm going to adventure with what I know in asp to make one later on.
