Hi all,

I'm wanting to add language translations to my website. I would like something similar to this site http://www.luxuryportfolio.com/. Under languages you can select a different language and the page changes. Not sure how to make that work. Any suggestions?

I would suppose that they have 6 or however many different versions of the same page, with different languages on each one. If you are talking about on the fly translation, I wouldn't. Takes your bandwidth, makes each page take ages to translate. No, no-one would do that. Must just be several versions on the same page.

I'd be pretty sure.

Most "on the fly" translation scripts are poor at best and heading towards complete garbage at worst.

go to BabelFish translate something from any language that YOU know into one you don't, then copy and paste the result and translate it back.
Or try it with someone who speaks two languages and get them to read the result to you and see if it makes sense.
Unless it's something like "Hello how are you", it probably won't

Translation is something best done by real people who actually speak and understand both languages. That is if you want any chance of actually converting the visitor.
