Anybody experience this ?
The subject line is blank. I try to block the sender and it won't work.
Blocking senders usually does with this account. Also in the headers it shows my other email account as the recipient but gets delivered to my main account.
They show up sporadically and I've been a bit more vigilant about logging on the webmail first to see if I can mark them as spam through my isp first but dang, wouldn't ya know it I let my guard down once and one slipped through.

I just tried a rule to delete from server any email with blank subjects, so we'll see if that works. I put in the "where the subject contains"
quotes and 2 spaces and another quote I formatted it with real quotes and used the space bar to insert spaces.
Then the second part of the rule was "delete from server"
Hopefully the quotes and spaces will be effective.

Looks like spam from china by the originating IP address.

Oh yeah, I use a little tool called Mailwasher to scan emails 1st before outlook express. They don't seem to show up in there. I wonder if a cookie has been set or a registry entry.

If it's the same IP address, then block it on your mail server if you can. If you have a web-based email client that your host provides you with, you can often go in there and add IP address-based rules too.

China's a real honeypot for spammers, especially wholesale spammers. But on the other hand, they're quite stupid and fun to screw with...y'know, if you're twisted that way.

If the above don't work, you can go to www.knujon.com (no junk spelled backwards). They can do a forward traceroute through the links in the message itself, including redirects. The source may be faked, but the destination has to be good if the spammer hopes to make a profit. I discovered them during my last rant-a-bout with spammers.
