xhtml/CSS footer position problem in FF

Hello,

I've been coding a template of mind for the past couple days and finally got down to the footer when I encountered a rather irritating problem in FF (shows up fine in IE6). For some reason the footer div floats in the "middle" of the page and behind other divs. I've been told this has something to do with positioning, but after messing with the CSS and xhtml itself for almost a day now I still haven't been able to find a fix.

You can view the coded template here:

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as im pulling my hair out at the moment.

Thanks

Did you fix it ? I don't see the footer in the middle of the page, it's at the bottom where it belongs.

What you describe sounds like you didn't CLEAR your floats though.

It looks fine to me too. I am using FF. Just checking to see if you still need help and it sounds like a float that wasn't cleared to me too.

It's fixed now, turned out to be a weird positioning issue.

Thanks for the responses though
