I have only been building my site for a week now and have a refresh problem. My site is part of my hobbie as a radio ham, the main reason for the site is to display .jpg files that i pick up with software called MMSSTV
and the received file is uploaded to the site with a ftp widget.
Well that part works fine and the file gets onto the site.
On the pages that display these files I have added a 60sec refresh.
Some users have said that the page refreshes and when they know i have uploaded a new .jpg file, the new file don't display?
I have tested this with a mate and i upload a new file and when page
refreshes he still sees the old image.

Yes its not the best looking of sites but only been doing this for 2 weeks.

Try using cache control
<META HTTP-EQUIV="CACHE-CONTROL" CONTENT="NO-CACHE">

If your naming the image the same as the old, and not making it a seperate file. The old version will be stuck in the browsers cache, try clearing your friends cache as well as your own.

To prevent this, make the image's name different each time. Or put a note telling them to refresh their browser cache.
