I need some help; I had a website build for me by someone I found through one of website like this. Unfortunately that person has disappeared some where and now I need some help.

Basically the problem that I have is that the MAIN picture is not showing up (not loading at all) under some firewalls. For example I have Kaspersky internet security and when its turned on it big picture on top doesn’t load, I tested the same result with Mcafee.

if that's the case then can't you just adjust the settings of your firewall, althought i really don't know why you should since that image is just a simple jpg, not a flash movie or something else.

I would think this is more to do with the firewall than the way the site is built. The image is set the same way many images are set on websites.

How many different computers did you try? I see the image and have a firewall (Zone Alarm). Do you see the image with all firewalls turned off?

I would agree with vangogh, the image size is within the usual "banner ad" size, so if the IS software has "ad blocking" features turned on the images will be removed if they are the "right" size.

I was thinking ad blocking might be the cause. Enough of us are seeing the images that it's hard to believe it's the site itself.

Maybe it's the setting of your browser??? Have you tried using different computers???
