I am kinda stuck at the moment and thought maybe you guys could help me out.

I really have no idea what section this should be under because I can't for the life of me think of what I am trying to do is called so I decided to post it here and let you guys sort it out for me.

I have attached a quick layout of what I am trying to accomplish and will try to explain it.

I am running a SMF w/ Tiny Portal website, and can do just about anything with my host so here goes.

I want to have a page where I have "tabbed" sections at the top. Each "tab" is actually a 'call' to a packet of information that will be displayed in a section designated to load the information. I want all of the information to be pre-loaded and then when a user clicks a specific tab to show only the information linked to that tab. I want all of this to happen without reloading of the page or linking to another page.

Example:

Tab A = Hello
Tab B = Hi
Tab C = Bonjour

Tab A | Tab B | Tab C

I click Tab A

Hello

Sorry if this was too long or confusing, just making sure I can provide all the information I can.

I simply need to know what I am trying to do is called, I can figure out how exactly I want to do it if I just had a starting point to begin searching with.

Hmmm, if I good understand you then you need AJAX.

You definitely need some scripting, AJAX, PHP, or ASP, to do this sort of thing.
