I redid my site recently, but still haven't implemented CSS for a couple reasons. Anyways, the site works fine on my PC using Firefox, it works beautifully on my kid's iMac and Firefox, and on my wife's PC using a slightly older version of IE. I went to the library today and checked it out in a newer (unknown version) of IE, and the links are all sorts of different colors. Could anyone explain why?

Thanks for your suggestions, as long as they aren't "Ya shoulda used CSS!"

Using a XHTML Strict doctype with this deprecated markup
Code:
<body bgcolor="#000000" text="#FFFFFF" leftmargin="0" topmargin="0" marginwidth="0" link="#CCCCCC" vlink="#999933" alink="#D2D200" onLoad="MM_timelinePlay('Timeline1')">
is bound to cause some problems.

Ouch..that's ugly. I would highly suggest you drop your DOCTYPE back down to HTML 4.01 Strict if you can't code w/o all that deprecated code.. like the evil <font> tag and others.

Why do you have CSS files linked in the middle of your JavaSCript code? You have id's and classes that don't have the matching CSS.

If you use a DOCTYPE, you need to know the rules for it.

Yeah, I am a bit behind the times, and tried a few new things in an old Dreamweaver. They didn't work, and I obviously didn't clean it up very well. Thanks.
