and i want to know how hard would i be to run a virtual game weather it was animals or like the sims or dragons ect. i tryed to make a game simi close to the horse but i could not succesed (did i spell that right lol) any ways i just wanted to know how hard would it be to run a virtual game online is it like a web site or far from being like a web site get back to me on it i really want ot know thanks holly oh i also have a question in webdesign forums if you want to check it out

Try to write in complete sentences, with proper spelling, capitalization, punctuation and grammar so that we can UNDERSTAND what your question is.

If you have to ask that question then, very hard.

Even for a basic game your gonna need some basic programming skills and I mean proper programming not like HTML which is a mark up language. Programming languages are not the kinda thing you can pick up overnight, which is whats makes me say if you have to ask then very hard.

You'll probably need a good knowledge of PHP or ASP and you might need to design the interface in flash too.

As johneva said, programming is something that takes time. I've recently been learning Visual Basic.NET where I made a pizza ordering system for a pizza restaurant (of course this was just for the course - not a real pizza restaurant).

HTML is only a language for displaying information - content is added or embedded into pages and then viewed from a browser. It cannot process information very well - for interactivity, you'd need a good knowledge of a dynamic programming language like PHP or ASP. It would certainly be quite difficult and would take a lot of work.

Learning Flash is no walk in the park....

I would suggest investing in some programming books. PHP/MySQL/Flash books will do. At least then you will know what is actually involved in such games. My 2 cents...
