Getting words and images aligned

Hi!

I got discouraged with my webhost who was trying to act like a webmaster. I previously had only worked with FrontPage, but my webhost was down for days at a time. I went local and he was too busy to fix bugs in his system. Now I am on my own, more or less.

I was trying to insert a line to insert an image. Unfortunately I threw the page alignment off. I am not sure where to start. I threw in an extra <td> and <tr> but that doesn't seem to be working. I also took them back out again. I am sure the fix is simple, but I just don't know what it is. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

hi. i can see the 2 images with a text beside them and then a long <ul> list element that is squashed up to the right hand side under all of that. But how is it you wanted to have it? should you have 3 pics?

Thank you for your response. Actually I would like that UL on the left side of the page, maybe not clear over, but mostly. It looks to me like there are 3 columms on that page. Each of the text areas look a bit squished. I was trying to put another image in there, copied and pasted another line that dealt with image, when things started going haywire.

<td><p><img src="/wintercommon.jpg" style="float:right; padding:10px 30px 10px 20px;" /><BR>

This or a similar line was what I tried to paste, just changing the name of the image. After it threw everything off, I removed it.

I figured out what my problem was. Just above amenities, I inserted a </tr><tr> That pushed everything over where it needed to go. I remembered I had a copy of the original source code and compared that with the current source code.

Thanks for the help! Carol
