Hello everyone, Im new to these parts. Been looking for one board that is good for all parts of design for a while. I may have found it.

Not sure if this problem belongs in this forum because I'm not sure what is causing it. For some reason the flash I have wont show and I am also using projectsevens "tab magic" and the javascript for that is not working either. I uploaded the site to another one of my servers and it works just fine. Im really lost with this. Any Suggestions as to what is happening? My hosting company says it has something to do with the index page, but why would it work on 1 server and not the other? (Same Hosting Company)

Working link: http://www.zalezmedia.com/test/index.html

Non-Working: http://www.hairlossanalysis.com/index.html

Any help is greatly appreciated
Thanx

The difference appears to be the doctype. The working page uses XHTML Transitional, whereas the non-working version is XHTML Strict.

Looks like you've used the Dreamweaver script for embedding Flash, my guess is the two scripts are interfering with the P7 script. Try SWFObject for the Flash, dump the embed tag, and see if that works for you.

I changed the doc type earlier to see if that was the problem but it doesnt seem to be. I did change it back now. I also tried using the swfobject, however I have never used it before. Would you mind having a look to see if I implemented it correctly? Still doesn't work.

If you're using includes for the header with flash, I'd have to see the include code. It does not appear to be showing the include at all.

On your spans for sub headings, you've got them all as <span id="subHeadings"> - ID's MUST be unique, you cannot re-use them on a page. If you want to reuse the styles, you'll have to switch that to CLASS rather than an ID.

Although I`m new in here ... may I suggest you using an <object> tag to embed your flash movie on the page ...and see if that works ...

I can`t really see another problem ... I mean other than the one`s that have been pointed out.
