Table disturbing in IE, Please help

I am working on my sms site and everything is correct IMO. In dreamweaver it is showing everything correct. See the image below






When I open this file in IE, there is a space appearing above the navigation bar. See the image




I have checked the height of my cells, they are of the same height.

Can anyone please help me in fixing this problem?

I did everything same as I did for my smartpixels site. I don't know why this is not appearing correctly.

Waiting for some help.

I would need to see the actual code but if the header image above the navigation bar are created using separate table rows then it could be a cellpadding or cellspacing issue.

yes, i was using two separate rows for header and nav bar, but cellpadding and cell spacing were 0.

Now I put both of them in a single table, now there is no gap

I fixed the problem on my own.. yayyy
