Sounds like you are trying to build an e commerce site maybe? I'd say the easiest way for you to make something like that would be to get a ready made shopping cart system, like http://www.zen-cart.com.

There are many different systems to choose from and I'm sure you can find themes to download for them. The only one I have experience with is zencart. It comes with an admin interface to change anything and everything you could think of. Find a system you like and upload it to your directory and you'll be set.

Sounds like you're not a coder, so you probably don't want to go program your own website from scratch.

Look into a pre-built CMS - these will do everything you need them to:

- Joomla - www.joomla.com
- Drupal - www.drupal.com

Good luck!

I'd suggest you to try PHP and MySQL.

If you planned that your Site will like be a Blog? or want to post some things? You better look for a host that offers "Fantastico" or "Elefante". In which, it serves free blog installation (Auto-Install). But if you really want a Site that exactly or that is similay to eBay, you better check 1and1.com's eCommerce offer. They are having a sale with 50% off with their products! I believe in 1and1. They're the one who hosts my Site, recently. So, the choice is yours. I hope this helps.
