I would like to post different forms on various areas of our site and have them email the info to us. I wouldn't think this would be hard to do but I understand there are some things to consider based on the hosting server? I make changes to the .asp pages using dreamweaver.. can anyone recommend a good software package for a non-technical way to add forms to email areas either using DW or other way?

thanks in advance....

The only problem you are going to have is finding asp form mail scripts. ASP can only be run on windows servers, and Linux tends to be a more stable server setup, and so it is more popular and PHP is the language of choice for that..

For example, one of the biggest script libraries (Hotscripts) has only about 2750 ASP scripts, while they have about 12,500 PHP scripts.

Anyway, long story short, here is a link to their ASP form script pages:
http://www.hotscripts.com/ASP/Scripts_and_Components

Good luck.

What is involved in collecting site visitor information from a technical point of view? You'll need a generic forms-to-email program that collects information in discrete fields and sends that information to you via e-mail. The better programs also write this information to an online database. Here are several good forms-to-email programs that I have successfully used as a business site developer:

Oooh, I don't know about being difficult, I found this while browsing the net ( and strangely enough it's on my site)
