nav bar disappearing/reappearing?

My colleague is complaining that the navigation bar on her site comes and goes. It's a pretty straight forward page, the nav is plain text links, so this is puzzling. The site was written in Dreamweaver CS3, she is using IE7, does this maybe have something to do with the browser cache?

This is the link: http://diabetespsychologist.com/

Thanks for any insight.

I looked at the site with Firefox, IE 6 and IE7 and the navbar never disappeared. There's a lot of flickering going on, but no disappearing.

She has a ton of validation errors and the doctype being used isn't reflected in the code - in other words, it should not be XHTML Strict because the code doesn't conform to that DOCTYPE at all.

Her Google map thing is broken.

I didn't see any flickering, but in IE7 I did notice that the navigation links are a little lower and are being obscured by the page content below.

You might just need to raise the links a little or move the content down a little for the links not to disappear.

However I agree with LadyNRed that there are a lot fo validation errors and you may want to fix those first.
