I have a slight problem that hopefully someone can solve. When i click on the links on my website the pages open up within the main iframe which is what i want. However when i use the new version of IE the links seem to open up in a new window. :/

Is there code I can use to fix this problem? Thanks in advance,

Jonny

Because its how I want my site to look. Its only a portfolio website so i'm not looking money or a lot of hits - its just somewhere to display my work.

Can you help me with my problem?

I just googled a bit on this and it seems there could be a bug in IE7 when using multiple frames?? Perhaps someone could throw more light on this??

Maybe make you navigation menu non framed and see if that cures it?

Thanks for your help! I actually think that may be the problem. However, i designed my website in photoshop and wanted the rollover effect on the links. I don't think thats possible unless the links are in a frame? Maybe i'm wrong?

Nope, will open URL in the top frame of the window.

For example:

You have a page which contains a frame, within that frame is a link. By default the link will open IN the frame. But if you supply target="_top" it will open the link in the page rather than the frame.

There are lots of ways to get rollovers without using a frame -
just google "rollover effects" and have a look
