Hi,

Bit of a silly question but...

Am i right in saying i can have a form with multiple submit buttons within it and it dont matter where the buttons are or which one is clicked...

If you mean it doesn't matter which is clicked and the form is submitted, then yes.

I will sometimes have a save and a delete button on one form and then name the button. When the form is submitted, I can then process the correct condition. However, if the user hits Enter, then you may or may not have the right button clicked by default and you can't expressly set the default button.

i know what u mean Jeremy i have done that before too.

i was thinking more for like huge settings pages

so like SAVE
settings
SAVE
Settings

and like if u edited the bottom setting but clicked the very top save buttton it still wouldnt make a differance..

I use them very often for the same purpose, Dan. I hate it (and so do my clients) when one has to go scrolling around to find the **** save button.
