Can I put it anywhere, like in <body>? Or does it need to be in <head>?

Because I have an ASP script that writes everything before the content place and everything afterit, so I just write the content, but If I changed it, it would change on every page.

But it doesn't matter anymore, I made a javascript code to change it.

It's usually good practice to make the title different on each page anyway; why would you want it to be the same?

Which of course will do nothing for search engines, which could be a serious problem given that the title element is without doubt the most important aspect for optimising for search.

Couldn't it be a variable in ASP? That is how I have a different title on every page with PHP.
