Hi,

I wonder if anyone can help? I send out a newsletter from time to time. In the newsletter, I ask a piece of trivia which various members reply too. I have changed to using a HTML email which has a dark background and white lettering and matches the coloring of the website. The problem now is when someone replies, if their default email font color is black, or nearly dark, it looks bad. Is there something I can add to the emails html coding to temporarly change the reply font color to white?

A bit long and drawn out I know but, hopefully, you'll get the idea.

Thanks in advance,
Texasrose

There's no way you can grab control of a member's email client settings - which is what you'd have to do in order to change colors like that.

I'd like to add here, the way I have my client setup you can't use HTML with me, and that's how I setup all my client's email clients too.

What if I added a few lines of .js or a link to external .css in the outgong email.

I suppose that would be frowned on?

Just read your second message as I posted this. What I suggest above would be no good to those who choose not to receive emails in HTML anyway
