Is there any good method for Displaying spreadsheet data with divs?
I can make it work fine on firefox/Opera with the

display:table-[row|cell]

But it just doesnt work on mie ._. (self thought: WDF ppl still use ie...)

I can try to make with floats, but they go berserk at any second ._.

Yes. And for DATA, tables are fine; that's exactly what they were made for.

IE does not yet support CSS tables, but I read that they are going to start supporting them in the next version of IE.

And I agree with Tim that the excel data is tabular data...so tables would be fine here...in fact, this is the information that tables were designed to hold.

yes, this is the only place tables are really suggested for use...and i too have read that IE8 will support css inn tables, along with a lot of the other standards.

That's the kind of data tables were made to display. Tables are fine to use. Those of us who argue against their use are doing so for the layout of a page, but when you have tabular data you should use a table.

If you want to display Microsoft excel document in your page, why don't you use Zoho documents, they are the rival of google docs
