Getting weird code at end of my forum's URL's

I have a forum using MyB_

I am getting additonal code at the end of my url's and am not sure why.

The normal url would end in:

http:// my forum .com/showthread.php?tid=423

BUT, it adds this at the end of my urls: &pid=3#pid3

Note the number 3 is just from one post, that number changes as the post change. Where am I getting &pid=3#pid3 and can it be fixed?

Any ideas? It's driving me batty!

The &pid=3 looks like a variable. I would assume that "tid" is thread id and "pid" is post id. I don't think this is something that needs to be fixed.

Without this, it would become more unorganized, my suggestion...just leave it

I wouldn't mind it except for 2 reasons,

1) I don't think its very SEO, 2) The other forums that are using MyB_ don't add this additional code.

I'm wondering if the code is corrupted somewhere?

I don't think its very SEO,
very SEO what?

and it makes no difference if you mean "friendly" as the document fragment is purely a browser handled "thing" and is totally ignored by SEs.
