Hi,

Having a small problem with my site in Internet explorer and was hoping to get some help.

For some reason the small blue line below the navigation bar moves to various parts of the screen on certain pages of the site.

http://www.portfolio-properties.net

The problem seems to be occuring on the contact page, the location page and the plans page.

It's a bit wierd because the navigation is the same html sitewide so i am guessing I have done something wrong elsewere ...

Any help would be appreciated,

Dave

The #wrapper is not containing anything because you have not properly cleared your floats.

GRRR... BEAT ME TO IT!

I'm a gracious loser to you though.

Clear the floats on your divs when you have positioned them left etc.

LadynRed posted a great link a while back explaining the need to do this.

Thanks guys... I get the feeling the next question is going to be really annoying but how do you clear floats? And what exactly is a float? I just took a quick look back but I couldn't find the link. Would you be kind enough to show this to me again?

Thanks,

Dave

You're kidding right ?? Guess that goes to show that you didn't code that page at all. You REALLY need to LEARN what it is you're doing and WHY.

It's going to suprise you but I did it all myself through various tutorials and a lot of help from forums such as this.

It turns out I do know what a float is I just wasn't 100% sure so thought I would ask!

Thanks a lot for the help I'll give this a try
