This is probably a very basic task but i'm not sure how to do it.

on my webpage www.vidripscript.com you see about half way down the page there is a table with an image of Easy Web Video and a little text about it, this is in a table. Would I be better off taking it out of the table (like the image and text above it) for SEO reasons, if so how would I achieve this?

"For SEO reasons" is a fair bit of work for absolutely no benefit.

Yep that's correct, Search Engines has absolutely no trouble at all with tables.

There are many many reasons why you should get rid of the tables, but SEO isn't one of them.

Semantics, mostly. A table is, and always has been, intended for tabular data presentation. There are many tags in the HTML doctype. Use them for their purpose. You can achieve what you are trying to do simply by putting a float onto the image (if you want the text to float around it). Alternatively, have the elements float beside each other (to give the effect of two columns).

A great reference for tags and CSS, use http://www.htmldog.com/
