I need some help with my favicon.ico in IE. It works on Mozilla Firefox but not in IE 7. The code I am using is: <link rel="shortcut icon" href="http://www.swvamssupport.org/favicon.ico" type="image/x-icon"> and below it is <link rel="icon" href="http://www.swvamssupport.org/favicon.ico" type="image/x-icon">

Is there any thing I need to do so IE will work? You can view the site at http://www.swvamssupport.org and you can e-mail from that page at the bottom or to webmaster@swvamssupport.org

Thank You for your time and effort.

make the href into a relative URL instead of an absolute one

I changed the URL from a relative URL instead of an absolute one and it still does not work in IE but does in Foxfire...

You should have a closing / on the link (depending on you doctype)

Try putting a backslash at the end of the link, I believe IE can be funny with that sort of stuff.

<link rel="icon" href="http://www.swvamssupport.org/favicon.ico" type="image/x-icon" />

Just looked at your site and you haven't declared doctype - try putting the / in anyway it can't hurt!
