how to position this one?

hello

i am trying to use the absolute positioning css rule to position a "script"
it's a live help script link. i can't get it working with
"display:block;
position:absolute;
top:0px;
left:32px;"

I think we would need more info, please put up some code so we can see what your trying to do, may I ask why you are using absolute positioning?, can you not place the script within the normal document flow?

thanks for your reply. the site i am working on is all aligned to the left(not centered)..a good guy did it before.
and now i have to use absolute positioning because the site is not normal html.it's a shopping cart.
the live help script link must be added in the <body> section in order to work. here's the code:
<script type="text/javascript" src="/livehelp/livehelp_js.php?eo=1&relative=Y&amp;department=1&a mp;serversession=1&amp;pingtimes=15"></script>
and i can't get this positioned where i want using absolute positioning.

I don't think that you need to put that link inside script tags. The file you are calling doesn't look like a javascript. Anyway, I guess that is beside the point.

Can we see your HTML and CSS?
