Has anyone else noticed that this forum isn't really an HTML forum at all, but really just a place where people land with their problems, when they don't know where else to go?

It seems like every time I answer a question here, it is either a CSS problem, or a Javascript question, or something that leads to Server side includes (this comes up a lot)

In celebration of this, I invite everyone to make a random comment onto my random thread, as this will be only a minor nuisance compared to the normal state of this channel...

Please reply with your most random website story/and or silliness.

Perhaps that means that all of us understand HTML well enough =)

My randomness (my favorite practical joke):
Go to someone's computer, hit print screen to take a screenshot. Paste it in paint or whatever graphics program they have, and save it. Then make that image their background. Then move all their desktop icons to a different folder on their hard drive. It looks like they're still there because they're part of the background. Works best on people not especially proficient at computers.

If I hold my breath, will my Explorer 6 problems just go away on their own?

Yes, actually they will, it's called asphyxiation and gives you a minor buzz. About that time all your problems go away. (Note: don't try this at home)

I think my random comment will be, the other day I was sitting there for about 15 minutes trying to figure out how to do the HTML for the one part of a site. Eventually I did remember, you use the ol or ul for lists >_< don't know how I forgot that.

That reminded me of a similar thing I did.

I had a broken car windscreen, so I took a picture of it from the inside of the car for insurance purposes. The picture never showed any of the car, just the cracked windscreen.

I then put it on my bosses computer as wallpaper and it looked like his monitor was broken.

Here's a reduced copy attached, imagine it taking upmthe whole screen.

It's a test. If you can't answer peoples' random markup questions, you're not allowed to have a tattoo on your neck that says </head>.
