I deleted the favicon.ico file from my account and yet the favicon still shows up in the browser, even after trying ctrl + f5. Could you please tell me if you see the favicon or not, and be sure to do ctrl + f5 just in case you have visited my site before.

I had that problem a little aswell, and when you add one it takes a few refreshes to appear. I suppose it's just a performance thing with FF to stop unrequired http requests, but it should do it on a hard refresh >_<. However, I don't get a favicon on your site, FF is just refusing to delete the local copy properly for you.

That's probably the problem, but I'm still skeptic that my ISP isn't caching the page. Because I have tried ctrl + f5 multiple times and the icon still shows. Anyway, time will soon reveal the problem.

You might try to go to Tools -> Clear Private Data. Sometimes ctrl+f5 doesn't really clear out everything.
